Jane’s coaching Approach
Coaching with Jane is practical, thoughtful, and forward-moving. It’s a space to slow down, get clear on what matters, and work through what’s getting in the way — so you can move ahead with more confidence and intention.
Jane works with clients on a range of areas, including purpose, relationships, life transitions, and decision-making. Together, you will untangle what feels stuck and identify clear, realistic steps forward. Her style is warm and collaborative, with enough structure and directness to keep things grounded and productive.
Jane discovered and started working with the Enneagram while living in San Francisco in 1998. She offers the Enneagram workshop and shares it as an optional tool for those who are interested. Many clients find it helpful for understanding patterns, motivations, and blind spots — giving language to why we think, feel, and respond the way we do, and supporting deeper, more lasting change.
Beyond one-on-one work, Jane leads workshops designed to build connection and understanding. Jane supports parents in strengthening relationships with their teens through conversations around emotional development and digital life. She also facilitates small group experiences for girls and their mothers, creating a space to learn, connect, and navigate key transitions with more confidence and support.
What is the Enneagram? The Enneagram is a simple, practical framework that helps make sense of how we’re wired — our patterns, motivations, and default ways of moving through the world. It often brings a sense of clarity and self-understanding that makes growth feel more accessible and intentional.
How is a coachING different from a therapY?
Therapy and coaching both offer valuable support, but they serve different purposes. Therapy often focuses on understanding and healing past experiences, addressing mental health concerns, and providing clinical care when needed. Coaching, on the other hand, is future-focused and goal-oriented. As a coach, Jane partners with clients to build clarity, develop strategies, and move forward with intention. While she does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions, she does support individuals in creating meaningful change in their lives.
